Hoover Boys’ Basketball Team Fights for Victory

Hoover Boys’ Basketball Team gathers for a group shot.

Here at our very own Hoover High school Event center, last Thursday the boys were in their second round of playoffs against Frontier. The score went on a constant run back and forth leaving the crowd on their toes. Both teams were aching for a win and the opportunity to make it to the next round. Hoover had the chance to make it with Frontier doing many fouls on the boys, giving them the opportunity to catch up on the scoreboard. After a very intense game #24 Anthony Swillis made the tie shot in just three seconds; however, the boys still fell short in overtime, leaving the score at 73-68.
